The Ministry of Finance has issued a notification regarding the reduction in the prices of petroleum products.
According to the notification, the price of petrol has been reduced by 8 rupees per liter, the new price of petrol has been fixed at 323 rupees 38 paise per litre.
The price of diesel has been reduced by Rs 11 per litre, the new price of high speed diesel has been set at Rs 318.18 paise per litre.
The Ministry of Finance says that due to the decrease in the prices of petroleum products in the global market, the prices have been reduced.
According to the Ministry of Finance, it has been decided to reduce the prices of petroleum products due to the improvement in the value of the rupee.
Sources say that the levy on petrol has been maintained at Rs 60 and diesel at Rs 50 per litre.
