A special seminar on the topic of Pak-Turkey relations was organized in the University of Management and Technology

Lahore (General Reporter) A special seminar on the topic of Pak-Turkey relations was organized in the University of Management and Technology (UMT) in which Acting President UMT Lt. Gen. Javed Hasan (Retd.), Rector UMT Dr. Asif. Raza warmly welcomed the Ambassador of Turkey to Pakistan Dr. Mehmet Pachaji. Director General UMT Prof. Abid Sherwani, Dr. Mujahid Kamran, members of Turkish Consulate, UMT faculty and a large number of students attended. The ceremony started with flag hoisting and recitation of Holy Quran.


UMT Rector Dr. Asif Raza welcomed the Turkish ambassador on his arrival at UMT and said that his visit was an honor. Addressing the audience, Dakar Asif said that Pakistani students and faculty learn a lot from the Turkish education system. And said that we want strong relations between the two countries through employment, internship programs and industrial cooperation.
UMT Acting President Lieutenant General Javed Hasan (Retd) welcomed the Turkish ambassador to UMT and asked him to consider Pakistan as his second home away from Turkey. Expressing his views, he said that following the example of Turkey By doing this, Pakistan will overcome its problems.
Ambassador of Turkey to Pakistan Dr. Mehmet Pachaji thanked the UMT administration for the special hospitality. Expressing his views, he said that Pak-Turkish relations are based on a unique and unparalleled relationship, which is rooted in faith, linguistics and deep history. Dr. Mehmet said that Turkish universities will work with Pakistani students for the promotion of education due to their ability, which is the reason why 13000 Pakistani students are studying in Turkey.
The Turkish ambassador further said that cooperation between the two countries has never failed. 190 MoUs have been signed between Pakistan and Turkey, which will promote trade. In the near future, the cooperation between Pakistan and Turkey will increase further, which will lead to prosperity in both countries.
UMT Rector Dr. Asif Raza along with Lt. Gen. Javed Hasan (retd) also presented souvenirs to Turkish Ambassador Dr. Mehmet Pachaji.
