LAHORE (General Reporter) Students from different universities participated in the competition. Principal Lahore College for Women University Dr. Rahat Ajmal, Registrar Lahore College for Women University Babar Ali Khan, Chairperson of Department of Islamic Studies Dr. Zahida Shabnam, Director of Student Affairs Dr. Sumira Sajjad and other teachers associated with the Department of Islamic Studies participated in the ceremony. Qaria Rafia, Qaria Hafsa Abdul Rasheed and Professor Qaria Tahira Malik performed the duties of the judge.

Addressing the ceremony, Dr. Rahat Ajmal said that as Muslims, we have to follow Quran and Sunnah only then success will be our destiny. Chairperson Dr. Zahida Shabnam thanked the registrar, principal and students and teachers who participated in the competition and said that the Quran has honored us and it is our responsibility to protect it. Hafiza Faiza Rasool, a student of the University of Punjab, won the first position, Shaista Shaheen, a student of the Islamia University Bahawalpur, won the second position and Mustabshera Abdul Manan, a student of the University of Gujarat, won the third position among the students who participated in the competition. At the end of the ceremony, the Registrar and Principal distributed certificates and prizes to the students and teachers.
