Army Chief visits ongoing training exercises in Cholistan desert
RAWALPINDI: Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that quality training and determination improves operational capabilities against every threat and challenge.
According to ISPR, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the ongoing training exercises in the desert of Cholistan in which the Chief of Army Staff was briefed on the two-week Zarb-e-Hadid exercises. The exercises are aimed at reviewing the preparations and joint defense initiatives of different sectors and formations.
The exercises include integrated exercises of infantry, mechanized forces, artillery, Army Air Defense, Surveillance Platforms and Combat Aviation Forces The Chief of Army Staff appreciated the professionalism and commitment of the troops of Bahawalpur Corps and said that full quality training and commitment enhances the operational capabilities against any threat and challenge.
The Army Chief also visited the logistics installations of Bahawalpur Corps and praised the engineering standards and skills. Earlier, on arrival at the exercise area, Corps Command Lieutenant General Khalid Zia received the Army Chief.
