KARACHI: The Sindh Education Department has decided to suspend classes up to eighth standard across the province due to corona virus.
Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani said in a tweet that the Sindh Education Department has decided to suspend physical classes in all public and private schools across the province for the next 15 days from Tuesday, April 6, up to eighth grade, in view of the corona virus situation. However, children’s education can be continued through online, homework and other means.
On the other hand, Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood said in his tweet that an important meeting of the NCOC on educational institutions has been convened on April 6.
The meeting will be attended by the Ministers of Education, Health and NCOC officials in which matters related to examinations will be discussed while the decision regarding the closure of educational institutions will be taken unanimously by the Ministers of Education, Health and NCOC.
