Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan says that diplomatic relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia will be restored in two months. The restoration of diplomatic relations does not mean the end of all differences with Iran
In an interview given to the Saudi media, Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan said that Iran and Saudi Arabia want to resolve their differences through dialogue, and the reconciliation agreement between the two countries is a reflection of their common aspirations.
He said that the continuous increase in Iran’s nuclear capabilities is a cause for concern. Reiterate the call for the Gulf States and the Middle East to rid the Middle East of weapons of mass destruction, so that Iran fulfills its nuclear obligations and increases cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Faisal bin Farhan said that China has positive relations with Saudi Arabia and Iran, so the agreement mediated by China will help to improve common security and relations. According to the agreement, he is looking forward to meeting the Iranian counterpart soon. ,,
According to Iranian officials, after reconciliation with Saudi Arabia, there will be positive effects on Tehran’s relations with Egypt, Jordan and Bahrain.
International countries, including Pakistan, welcomed the restoration of diplomatic relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia and appreciated China’s positive role in this regard.
