Does Exercise Really help to Lose Weight?

New York: Dr. Robert J. Davis, an American scientist and author, says that people who exercise daily or do physical work in the hope of losing weight have a false hope.

In his recent book, “Surprised Lies: How Mouths About Weight Loss Are Keeping Us Fat” (Amazing Lies: How Fake Weight Loss Stories Make Us Fat?) And here’s what we need to do to reduce weight and obesity.

In the book, he cites dozens of scientific studies on weight loss and obesity, saying that if a person weighing 150 pounds (68 kg) walked briskly 5 days a week, 30 minutes a day, he would lose only 140. Calories will burn.
There are so many calories in a small bottle of soft drink, so burning such a small amount of calories does not make the slightest difference in weight.

In addition, during the two days of rest, they eat well, which helps them to gain weight instead of losing weight. Weight loss will be followed by fatigue and constant tiredness.

However, by walking briskly for 90 minutes or by running briskly for 30 minutes daily, 400 to 500 calories can be burned on a daily basis which leads to slight weight loss.

With proper dieting, weight loss can be significantly reduced from six months to a year.

In his book, he also writes that most overweight people crave food and rest, so they consider dieting and exercise / physical exertion a punishment for themselves. And when they do not get the quick and good results of their efforts, they give up in frustration.

Dr. Robert warns that if you are exercising but not eating a low calorie healthy diet, it is futile to hope for weight loss.

However, with good exercise and a healthy diet every day, you can expect to lose a few kilograms in six months or a year.
