ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that overseas Pakistanis are our assets, embassies should change their attitude towards overseas Pakistanis.
These views were expressed by Prime Minister Imran Khan in his address to Pakistani Ambassadors posted around the world. He said that the way Pakistani embassies are functioning, embassies cannot function like this, unfortunately our ambassadors are behaving badly towards Pakistanis abroad.
The Prime Minister said that the feedback received from the embassy in Saudi Arabia was disturbing. Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates account for most of the remittances, and Pakistan has been safe from bankruptcy due to remittances from overseas Pakistanis.
