Lahore (General Reporter) Kashmir Solidarity Day was celebrated in Lahore Board in a grand manner. Speaking competitions were also organized on this occasion in which students of different colleges and schools participated. Who expressed their views on the importance and sacrifices of Kashmir in their own way. Chairman Dr. Mirza Habib Ali participated as a special guest. Peace and security and development depend on the peaceful solution of Jammu and Kashmir. The Chairman said in his address that the daughters of Kashmir are making sacrifices for their freedom by keeping the sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain in front.
We have to stand in solidarity with the Kashmiri people. He further said that no one can be helped without knowledge and students should focus on their education. The worst sacrifice in human history took place in 1947, which teaches us the importance of freedom. We should all want to be free from our self. A person who is a slave to his self can never be free. Cash and shields were distributed to the students who secured prominent positions in the speech competitions.
The first position was won by Hafiz Abdul Rehman Punjab College, Shalimar. The second position was won by Kainat Fatima and the third position was won by Fasi Fatima Government College, Cooper Road.
Professor Mian Muhammad Zahid and Audit Officer of Lahore Board Nadeem Ahmed performed the duties of judges in speech competitions.
RCO Prof. Ejaz Ahmed performed the duties of the stage secretary.
Dr. Bushra Bibi Secretary Lahore Board said on this occasion that on February 5, the world now knows that the right to Kashmir belongs only to the Kashmiri people and that this land is pure on which Hindus cannot set their unclean feet. And he will have to snatch his illegitimate possession of Kashmir.
We have to resolve all our differences to improve our economy.
