HEC has awarded the life sciences and medicine Best University Teacher award to Prof Syed Asghar Naqi, chairman Deptt of Surgery KEMU.
This award is a flagship award of HEC and given every year in 3 categories. that is Life sciences and Medicine,Physical sciences and Engineering and Social sciences and Humanities.Out of 242 universities all over Pakistan this year King Edward Medical University teacher , Prof Syed Asghar Naqi has been awarded the BUTA in life sciences and Medicine category. Federal Minister for Higher education Rana Tanveer Husain, chairperson HEC, directors and VCs were present at the conferring ceremony today 23.06.2022. Prof Khalid Masud Gondal ex VC KEMU was especially invited for this ceremony. KEMU had earlier nominated Prof Syed Asghar Naqi as the best University teacher and recommended him for Best University Teacher Award of year 2021.
