NO complete Lock Down,limited business will continue, PM

 

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he could not afford a complete lockdown and would continue business on a limited scale.

Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a meeting of the National Coordinating Committee for Cove 19 to discuss in detail the current situation of Corona in the country.
The Prime Minister attended the meeting via Bani Gala video link and interacted with the Chief Ministers online.

The Prime Minister directed strict implementation of SOPs across the country and decided to launch a nationwide campaign for the use of masks.
The Prime Minister said that the administrative machinery should be mobilized to implement the SOPs. Successfully confronting the first wave with strategy, time demands the nation to show responsibility once again.

The meeting was also briefed on the ongoing vaccination process and procurement across the country. The Prime Minister directed that merit and transparency be ensured in the vaccination process.

The meeting also reviewed the option of reducing inter-provincial transport and ratified the decision to immediately ban all indoor activities across the country. Restrictions will apply to districts and cities with more than 8% positive cases.
