Pakistan announced 20-member national squad against South Africa


KARACHI: The new chief selector of the national team Muhammad Waseem has announced a 20-member squad against South Africa in which nine new players have been selected. Chief selector Mohammad Waseem dropped Shawn Masood, Haris Sohail, Naseem Shah, Mohammad Abbas and Zafar Gohar from the team for the tour of South Africa, while Hassan Ali, Tabish Khan, Kamran Ghulam and Salman Ali Agha, who have done well in domestic cricket, were included in the team. The chief selector said that the selection committee has also given priority to performance over domestic while Shahdab Khan and Imam-ul-Haq have been rested due to fitness issues. The 20-member squad announced against South Africa consists of these players.
