Lahore()Punjab University Academic Staff Association demands the appointment of a Regular Vice Chancellor of Punjab University. The oldest and the largest University is working without regular Vice Chancellor for the last 10 months.The incumbent temporary Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar has relinquished his charge after his appointment as VC of Quaid-i- Azam University. Punjab University is working without Vice Chancellor for last one week. This has created many administrative, financial and academic issues. President ASA Prof.Dr Muhammad Azhar Naeem and Secretary Dr. Amjad Abbas Magsi demanded the Chancellor to take immediate notice of prevailing situation of the largest University of the Province. The process for regular Vice Chancellor must be completed and Pro Vice Chancellor may be appointed without delay.
