Lahore (General Reporter) Organized by Punjab University Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering in collaboration with Association for Materials Protection and Performance Pakistan Chapter, ‘Corrosion Technique Series’ was launched for the guidance of undergraduate students. The objective of the lecture series will be to highlight the importance of corrosion to young engineers with emphasis on practical aspects, solutions to real industrial problems and field methods carried out by practicing experienced professionals. In the opening session The students showed interest in the presentation and participated in the question and answer session at the end. Director Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering Prof. Dr. Mohsin Ali Raza thanked Ahmed Asad for sharing his knowledge and experiences. He also thanked AMPP Pakistan Section Engineer Shafqat Ali for his cooperation in the session. He praised the lecturer of the Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering Amiq Farooq for organizing the information program for the awareness of the students. Shafqat Ali highlighted the importance of AMPP for Corrosion Engineers. He advised the students to get international crosan certification to get jobs in the global crosan market.
