Lahore (General Reporter) The Punjab government has started a campaign to administer corona vaccine to more than 48 lakh children between the ages of 5 and 12 in the five districts of the province, Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, Okara and Bahawalpur. Dr. Akhtar Malik and Health Secretary Dr. Irshad Ahmed launched the vaccination campaign. ADCG Lahore, Director EPI Dr. Mukhtar Awan, CEO Education and CEO Health were also present. In the presence, 2 children were vaccinated against Corona. In the ceremony, the special guest, Provincial Health Minister Dr. Akhtar Malik said that in 5 districts of Punjab, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, Okara and Bahawalpur, children are being vaccinated against Corona. Corona vaccination of 92 million people has been done and we are striving to achieve the target of Corona-free Punjab, he said that thanks to timely and aggressive vaccination campaign, we have been able to defeat Corona. Lives are being saved by vaccinations, healthy future. There are hopes. The provincial minister further said that vaccination will be done by 6586 outreach and 773 fixed sites teams in selected districts and outreach teams will administer vaccines to children of private schools and madrasas.
