Arif secretary was my childhood friend, we used to play cricket and fly kites together, his father used to sell cardboard and he was also put to work in his childhood and he missed his studies and he started learning but He contracted TB there due to which he became weaker day by day, his immune system was suppressed and he suffered more medical problems. Finally, last year I got the news of his death. Many people were suffering from tuberculosis but those who had strong immune system defeated the virus and lived a normal life. And was able to eliminate this virus, according to my research, people who were financially well off were able to get rid of this disease because to defeat this disease and eliminate the virus, it is necessary to use a diet that It gives strength to the body so that the human immune system can do its job better and such foods are associated with economic prosperity. Last day, World Tuberculosis Awareness Day was celebrated. In this context, the report published by the World Health Organization demands great attention. They lose their lives, while 28000 people get sick from this disease. Around 63 million lives have been saved since 2000 due to global efforts to combat it. About five lakh people die of tuberculosis every year in Pakistan. This disease is mostly found in people living in backward areas where there is poverty, hunger, poverty, polluted environment and lack of basic health facilities. There is a shortage and this is the situation in our hospitals where there are TB-free wards but the supply of medicines is suspended. Kidneys are a priceless gift of nature that cannot be replaced. If the kidneys stop working in the human body, the increased amount of irregular substances including urea in the blood quickly disables the human body and pushes it towards death. Professor of Urology, Lahore General Hospital Prof. Khizr Hayat Gondal said in an awareness talk during the awareness seminar on the occasion of World Kidney Disease Prevention Day that adulteration in food items, non-availability of clean water, unnecessary use of chemicals, antibiotic drugs. , accidents, drinking alcohol etc. are the main causes of kidney failure which can be avoided to ensure kidney health. Kidneys not only clean the blood, but our health depends on their health, while their malfunction can lead to health problems for both men and women. More than 85 million people around the world are suffering from various kidney diseases, one out of every 10 people has chronic kidney disease. According to the World Health Organization, it will be the fifth leading cause of death worldwide by 2040. The causes of defects include diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, diseases related to the heart and blood vessels. Professor Khizr Hayat Gondal said that if the kidney is defective or damaged at birth, one should immediately consult a qualified physician and every person should undergo full kidney tests twice a year and in case of stone should be referred to urologist immediately, he appealed to the citizens to reduce the use of salt to maintain good kidney health, diabetes medicines Make sure, and prefer homemade food instead of eating junk food, give up smoking, use more water, many diseases can be avoided if treatment is started on time. Readers, water is a priceless gift of nature and a very important part of our life and the basic need of every human being. Currently, there are more than 900 million people in the world who are deprived of clean drinking water. Worried, but the situation in Pakistan is more serious. Pakistan is the fourth largest country in the world to use underground water. According to the standards of the World Health Organization, 85 percent of Pakistan’s population is deprived of clean drinking water. 92 percent of the country is sewage. Water gets directly into rivers and canals. This mixing in water is causing many diseases. Four out of every five diseases are caused by water-borne diseases. Diarrhea is the biggest cause of death among children. The reason is that every year more than 54,000 children die of cholera, diarrhea and other diseases in Pakistan due to drinking contaminated water. Clean water program of Al Khidmat Foundation has tried to reduce this serious problem to some extent by installing modern water filtration plant in urban areas, digging wells in remote and backward areas of Tharparkar, Inner Sindh, Balochistan, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. And the work of installing community hand pumps, “Gravity Flow Water Scheme” in Azad Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and water filtration plant and community hand pumps in Balochistan is also ongoing to provide clean drinking water to the general population as well as in prisons. It is working on clean water projects in prisons and schools to provide clean drinking water to prisoners and the future of the nation. Currently, there are 229 water filtration plants, 2541 wells, 12074 hand pumps across the country under Al-Khidmat Foundation. , 1850 Submersible Pumps, 320 Solar Submersible Pumps, 148 Gravity Flow Water Scheme projects are working. Around 4876650 people benefit daily from these clean water projects which is a great reward. To provide clean drinking water to temporary populations in affected areas It is working on several projects and has arranged 35 mobile water filtration plants and 106 water tankers in these areas. Each water filtration plant has a capacity of 1000 liters per hour. 205 water storage tanks have been placed in the slums / affected areas. While 55 thousand jerry cans have also been distributed to keep water safe. Daily clean drinking water is being provided to more or less 2,66,400 people.
